The Zones of Regulation curriculum is a “systematic, cognitive-behavioral approach used to teach us how to regulate our feelings, energy and sensory needs in order to meet the demands of the situation around us and be successful socially” that was developed by Leah Kuypers, an occupational therapist. The Zones of Regulation curriculum can be applied to all populations and all settings. This presentation is a glimpse into how to apply this self-regulation tool into your practice.
