Equipping OT practitioners with the ability to work with adults with developmental disabilities. Learners will have an in-depth and person-centered look at how to provide intervention strategies to assist these adults in maximizing their potential and ability to function well within our communities.

After completion of this course, learners will:
Determine functional and measurable goals and interventions for young adults with developmental disabilities (DD)
Provide interventions that ensure individuals with DD have access to purposeful activities that maximize potential in the community and home environments
Identify unique and exciting interventions available for young adults with DD
