Five occupational therapy practitioners will discuss a variety of topics, including: Navigating Difficult Conversations within Occupational Therapy Practice, Integrating Evidence into Practice, . This session will not be recorded for later viewing.

Learning Objectives:
Navigating difficult conversations will focus on conflict that may arise either with patients or in your future practice.
Conflict will be defined and theories associated with conflict will be presented.
Strategies to resolve conflict and how to handle difficult conversations will also be discussed.
At the end of the session, the participant will be able to describe ways to incorporate evidence into practice.
The new grad job search can be daunting. In this session you will learn valuable tips to land that first job. Topics include post-COVID and PDGM/PDPM job hunt, preparing for the interview, important questions, and making waves as the new OT or OTA.
Participants will learn how to develop boundaries and look beyond self-care to improve work-school/ life balance in order to achieve a fulfilling, long lasting career as an OT practitioner.

Participants will be able to identify the signs of burnout and what to do when burnout occurs in order to prevent malpractice, maintain good patient outcomes, and to find purpose and fulfillment in their careers.
