This course describes how mindfulness fits into our role as a health care practitioner and also how to use mindfulness in our daily occupations. Andrea will present her own experience and continued training to give examples with visual supports.

Target Audience: Occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, occupational therapy students.

learning objectives
After this occupational therapy continuing education course, the learner will be able to:
  • to identify the What, Who, When, Where, and Why to practicing mindfulness.
  • define interoception and how it fits into mindfulness
  • discuss how to manage emotional regulation for ourselves and our patients
Completion Requirements

In order to receive the certificate of completion, participants must meet ALL of the following criteria:
  • Complete payment or TNOTA membership log in for course enrollment
  • View course videos in entirety
  • Pass the course exam with a score of 80% or greater
  • Complete the Post Course Evaluation
Please note that no credit or certificate will be issued unless all criteria is met.  Partial credit will not be issued.
