There are over 16 Million living veterans in the United States according to the U.S. Census Bureau and only a small fraction of them receive their healthcare from Veterans Administration hospitals. Chances are that OTs, OTAs and students will be treating veterans in their practice setting. In this session you will learn more about these clients who served in our Nation’s defense and how you can better address their needs.

Target Audience: Occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, occupational therapy students providing services to adult populations.
This occupational therapy continuing education course uses the following instructional methods: visual aides (ie slides), discussion board, guided note taking, and learning, and practice opportunities.
Content disclosure: This course does not exclusively focus on any specific product or service.
