I want to know if a course is an AOTA Approved CE

Our platform includes both courses created by Aspire OT as well as courses created by our state association partners.  Courses that are created by Aspire OT are AOTA Approved for CEs.  FIND THESE COURSES HERE
If the course is an AOTA approved CE, you will find a special section on the course sales page underneath the learning objectives. It will have the course number and the AOTA Approved Provider emblem. 

I want to know if a course will be accepted for credit in my state

It is important to understand the requirements of the state in which you hold your license.  We encourage you to review the rules and regulations regarding continuing competency/continuing education for your state.

Courses created by our state association partners are considered approved by that state occupational therapy association.  We encourage you to review your state's rules and regulations regarding continuing competency/continuing education as some states accept courses that are approved by other state associations.  Courses approved by state occupational therapy associations do qualify for NBCOT PDUs.

Will I automatically receive my certificate once I complete the course?

Yes!  Once the course completion requirements are met,  you will automatically receive your certificate.  You will also have access to your certificate anytime you need it for the next 7 years! 

What if I need help?

Aspire OT is always happy to answer any questions you may have or assist you in any way.  You can email us at info@AspireOT.us, make sure to add us to your email contacts.  If you have not received a response within 24 hours, you may want to check your Spam/Junk folder. 

Do you offer a refund or a money-back guarantee ?

At Aspire OT, we strive to provide value and a great experience to our customers. We encourage you to reach out to us at info@AspireOT.us if you are unhappy with your Aspire OT experience in any way as Aspire OT would love to help improve your experience.

Courses: Aspire OT will provide a refund for the a course prior to it's completion. No refunds will be available for web courses that have been attended or viewed for greater than 30 minutes. In the event of a refund, the learner will be unenrolled in the course immediately upon issuance of a refund. No refunds will be issued for any course in which a certificate has been issued.  

Subscription: Aspire OT will provide a refund for the subscription if you have completed up to 1 course in the subscription. The refund will be less the cost of the course that you have completed. You can contact us at info@AspireOT.us to request the refund. 

Subscription FAQs

What type of courses are offered in the Aspire OT subscription?

The subscription includes online self-paced courses and live online webinars. We offer topics that appeal to a variety of settings including adult, pediatric, and mental health. 

How do I access my subscription courses?

Are all new courses created by Aspire OT automatically added to my subscription?

Yes!  You will automatically have access to all of the new courses created by Aspire OT.  Aspire OT subscribers will receive an email notification when new courses are being offered. Be sure to add info@AspireOT.us to your email contacts so you receive our emails straight to your inbox.

When will my subscription renew?

Your subscription will automatically renew every calendar year.  If you sign up in November of 2022, your subscription will renew in November 2023.  You will receive a notification email the month prior to remind you that your renewal is coming up.

Are all courses on the Aspire OT website offered in the subscription?

To ensure all courses are AOTA Approved CEs, the subscription includes only courses created by Aspire OT. Aspire OT is proud to partner with 4 state associations and offer CE courses from those states on our website, but those state association courses are not included in the subscription. (If you find a course offered by one of our state association partners that you would like to take, you can always purchase it separately!). 

Are all the courses offered in the subscription AOTA Approved CE courses?

Yes!  All courses offered in the Aspire OT subscription are AOTA Approved CE courses, which means that they also qualify for NBCOT PDUs. 

Will I have access to live webinars with the subscription?

Yes!  Aspire OT offers monthly webinars for subscribers who prefer or are required to have live CEUs.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Absolutely!  You can cancel your subscription at anytime.  You will have access the subscription for the full 12 months. You can find step-by-step directions on how to cancel here.

CE Broker Reporting FAQs

Will you report my course completions to CE Broker?

Beginning February 1, 2023, Aspire OT will begin reporting to CE Broker for our user's who are licensed in Tennessee and who have completed the required steps to set up their Aspire OT account. You can view those steps here. 

We hope to begin reporting for the remaining states where CE Broker is required by the end of February.

Do you report to CE Broker for all courses on your site?

We only provide reporting to CE Broker for Aspire OT courses. We have partnerships with several state associations who have courses posted on our Aspire OT website. We are not currently reporting our state association partner's courses. We hope to expand our services to include this later in 2023. 

How do I know that you will report my course completions to CE Broker?

Aspire OT will only be able to report for OTs and OTAs who meet the following criteria:

  • Have their state, license number, and professional role (OT or OTA) in their Aspire OT account. Click here to see a guide on how to complete this.

  • Are licensed in Tennessee (Beginning in February 2023)

  • Are licensed in another CE Broker required state (Coming soon!)
