Participants will have the opportunity to share their favorite adult feeding tips, tricks or adaptive equipment.  Come prepared to share links, and information with the group.

This webinar will be held on Zoom.

This course will NOT be offered as a self-paced course due to the interactive nature of the course.

This course will discuss helpful strategies for navigating school-based practice that you did not learn in school.


Have you ever found that the “go-to” adaptive equipment doesn’t quite work for your client? Or maybe your best strategy hit a wall because of cost, compliance, or context?

Join us for this interactive webinar where occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants and studentss come together to share and learn real-life strategies for supporting feeding performance using compensatory techniques, adaptive equipment and household items.  This course highlights the practical know-how that comes from hands-on experience in a variety of settings.

The course will feature multiple video demonstrations of commonly used strategies and tools, but the real power lies in community sharing. Participants will be invited to post their own favorite tips, product suggestions, video links, or success stories in the chat throughout the session. Whether you're just starting out or are a seasoned clinician, you’ll walk away with new perspectives and creative tools that come straight from the OT and OTA community.

This course celebrates what we learn from each other, because sometimes the best ideas are not found in a textbook!

Dr. Anna Fung, OTD, MOT, OTR/L, 
Aspire OT Instructor

Dr. Anna Fung, OTD, MOT, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist with experience spanning early intervention, school-based practice, pediatric oncology, higher education, and community-based programming. She is passionate about helping children and families participate in meaningful daily activities through strengths-based, evidence-informed, and family-centered care.

Anna previously served as Assistant Professor in the Master of Occupational Therapy Program at Tennessee Wesleyan University, where she taught pediatric, geriatric, research, and professional practice coursework while mentoring future occupational therapy practitioners. Throughout her academic career, she developed innovative community partnerships, interprofessional learning experiences, and evidence-based educational initiatives focused on clinical reasoning and real-world application.

In 2026, Anna transitioned back into clinical practice, providing early intervention services through Tennessee Early Intervention Services (TEIS) and independent contracting opportunities. She currently serves children and families across Southeast Tennessee and has helped expand occupational therapy services through Heightened Potential Co., increasing access to supports that promote participation, development, and family well-being.

Anna remains actively engaged in professional leadership and service. She serves as Vice Chair of the Southeast District for the Tennessee Occupational Therapy Association (TNOTA), founded the TNOTA Academia Community of Practice, and is a member of the TNOTA Annual Conference Planning Committee. She has presented nationally and statewide on topics including pediatric oncology, interprofessional collaboration, occupational therapy education, and innovative service delivery models.

Anna has presented her work at both state and national conferences, including the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Conference and the Tennessee Occupational Therapy Association Annual Conference, on topics such as pediatric oncology, occupational therapy education, interprofessional collaboration, and innovative service delivery models. Her scholarly contributions also include peer-reviewed publications and collaborative research focused on improving participation, quality of life, and occupational outcomes for children and families.

Known for her collaborative and engaging teaching style, Anna enjoys sharing practical strategies that clinicians can immediately apply in practice. Her professional interests include early intervention, caregiver coaching, pediatric feeding, interprofessional collaboration, occupational therapy education, and supporting children with complex developmental and medical needs.

Niccole Rowe, BA, COTA/L
Aspire OT Founding Partner

Niccole Rowe, BA, COTA/L has 12 years of experience as an occupational therapy assistant in various settings such as acute care, long term acute care, skilled nursing, academia, and outpatient chronic pain treatment. As part of her current role as one of the founding partners of Aspire OT, Niccole works to support other OT practitioners through exceptional continuing education. Niccole has been published in a textbook chapter and in OT Practice including co-authoring 2 continuing education articles. Niccole was also one of the lead authors for AOTA’s official document “Occupational Therapy’s Role in Treating Pain”. She was honored as the co-recipient of the American Occupational Therapy Association’s 2018 Terry Brittell OTA/OT Partnership Award. She has also been recognized for her leadership in occupational therapy as she was chosen for the 2017 cohort of AOTA’s Emerging Leaders Development Program and received the AOTA Gary Kielhofner Emerging Leader Award in 2020. She holds a BA in Communication.

Learner cancellations: In the event that the learner requests to cancel or is unable to attend a course, a refund for the total paid for the course will be granted if Aspire OT is notified via email at info@aspireot.us within 10 business days prior to date of the scheduled course, minus a non-refundable registration fee of 25% of registration price.  If the learner provides notification of cancellation less then 10 business days prior to the scheduled course, the learner will be offered the opportunity to attend the same webinar on an alternate date or enrollment in the recorded on-demand version of that webinar, instead of a refund.  

No refunds will be issued after a course has been attended for more than 30 minutes.  Partial credit will not be issued.  

Provider cancellations: In the event of inclement weather or other event resulting in the inability for a live course to be provided within the scheduled time, learners will be offered an alternate date or a full refund for registration paid.
