Functional cognition is a
newer educational standard and priority area of OT practice. Understanding a
client’s functional cognitive abilities helps practitioners in discharge
planning, safety recommendations, and creating interventions that provide the
just-right challenge. In this active session, learners will perform
performance-based screens and assessments and understand applicability to
practice.
