Google Documents: A Communication Tool in a Transnational OT Education Setting in Haiti
Self Paced

This program evaluation sought to determine if Google documents could serve as an effective communication tool between an English-speaking instructor and non-English speaking students in an occupational therapy (OT) program in Haiti. Identifying technology that increases the communication between educators and students is critical for student learning and success. Data collection involved a survey comprised of closed and open-ended questions. One hundred percent of the students expressed satisfaction with using Google documents for communication with the instructor. The results support the recommendation to use Google documents in more courses in the program.
