Non-complaint behaviors can be so hard to manage when all we want for our patient’s is for them to get better. But sometimes non-compliant behaviors can be more about the patient’s mental health than their motivation to get better. Learn how to identify whether your patient is demonstrating non-compliance or mental health behaviors.

Learning Objectives
After the completion of this occupational therapy continuing education course, the learner will be able to:

  • Identify behaviors commonly associated with depression, anxiety, and potential traumatic events

  • identify potential treatment strategies to address mental health behaviors effecting participation in occupational therapy

Completion Requirements

In order to receive the certificate of completion, participants must meet ALL of the following criteria:
  • Payment of the course in full
  • Watch course videos for full duration
  • Pass the course exam with a score of 80% or greater
Please note that no credit or certificate will be issued unless all criteria is met.  Partial credit will not be issued.
