Student Track Keynote: Occupational Therapy Student to Practitioner and TNOTA Student Resources

In this Student Track Keynote Address, strategies for choosing a practice area upon graduation as well as strategies to grow and excel as an occupational therapy student and practitioner will be identified. Strategies include reflecting on fieldwork experience, coursework, and other observations; observing/shadowing; and seeking mentorship among others. Students will identify online TNOTA student resources as part of the Student Involvement Committee initiatives and TNOTA initiatives. Student Section resources include the student forum, quarterly virtual chats, student opportunities, and the TNOTA Student Resources section.

After the completion of this course, students will:
Identify at least 2 strategies to choose an area of practice upon graduation.
Identify at least 2 strategies to grow and excel as an occupational therapy student and practitioner
Identify at least 2 online TNOTA student resources
