Why Handwriting Matters

This presentation explores the latest research related to fine motor development and handwriting in early childhood and its impact on math and reading achievement in elementary school. This session includes a lab with graphomotor, visual-motor integration and fine motor manipulation activities.

Explore activities that define fine motor writing, visual-motor integration and graphomotor skills in preschoolers through second grade that can be translated to the classroom or therapy setting.
