Introduction to Neurodiversity Affirming Occupational Therapy Practice
Neurodiversity-affirming practice (NAP) is a moral imperative for occupational therapy practice. Occupational therapy practitioners (OTPs) supporting neurodivergent individuals should be aware of and know how to apply NAP concepts. This presentation will provide a brief overview of NAP and how to apply NAP concepts within assessment and treatment when supporting neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan. Occupational therapy, coupled with occupation-based frameworks and tenets of the reformed social model of disability, can maximize the health, well-being, and quality-of-life of neurodivergent individuals on their terms.

Rehabilitation & Training Principles in Orthotics & Prosthetics
The field of orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) is rapidly advancing with innovations that are improving patient outcomes like never before. Occupational therapists play an important role in achieving these outcomes by training patients how to successfully integrate O&P devices into their daily lives. We believe in the value of state associations
Aspire OT knows the value that each state association brings not only to the profession of occupational therapy, but also to OT practitioners across the country. We created the Aspire OT State Association Partnership Program to support these associations and their missions. Through the partnership, the state association can offer occupational therapy continuing education courses with less demand on their own resources. Aspire OT can also assist the association in finding a broader audience for each continuing education course leading to potential revenue for the state association.
