This course explores the expanding role of occupational therapy in public health, prevention, advocacy, and nontraditional practice environments.
Through case examples and current research, participants will explore population-based interventions, community partnerships, health promotion strategies, and occupation-based approaches that extend beyond traditional individual occupational therapy interventions. This course will also help identify transferable occupational therapy skills that are valuable in various career paths.
