The OTA and OT relationship can enrich the OT process as the OTAs and OTs work together to achieve the best outcomes for clients.  OT practitioners juggle many demands and it may seem daunting to just fulfill the requirements of supervision with little time to consider working to nurture the supervisory relationship.

This occupational therapy continuing education course will help OT practitioners gain a better understanding of the roles of the occupational therapy assistant and occupational therapist related to the supervisory relationship. The use of collaboration to build a better OTA/OT partnership will be discussed and examples for navigating the challenges associated with the OT/OTA relationship will be presented.

This course is targeted at occupational therapy assistants and occupational therapists.

This course uses the following instructional methods: visual aides (ie slides), discussion board, guided note taking, and learning.

Content disclosure: This course does not exclusively focus on any specific product or service.
